Job summary

Athletic Brewing in Milford, CT is seeking a Packaging Operator I for the second shift to support our can and keg packaging operations. You will follow SOPs, operate packaging equipment, and maintain clean, safe work practices in compliance with OSHA and GMPs.

The role involves basic forklift handling, daily logs, and coordination with the packaging team. We value reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required (Word, Excel, email).

Responsibilities

• Package product into cans or kegs following SOPs.
• Master basic operations of each machine station including start/stop, setup, date code changes, tray placement, glue application, and packaging into machinery.
• Monitor basic operations of packaging line machinery by shadowing Operator 2+.
• Able to be trained to perform basic forklift operations.
• Submit pallet tags for cans, lids, and other packaging materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following OSHA and GMPs.
• Familiarize with product and attend sensory panels/off flavor training.
• Fill out daily packaging forms to update logs for CIP, Cleaning, Downtime, etc.
