Job summary

Citizen Cider is seeking a Packaging Operator (Level I) in our Operations team. This entry-level role requires learning all positions per the Job Level matrix and completing safety and food handling trainings within 90 days.

Responsibilities include cleaning, packing, labeling, and assisting with packaging line changes to ensure product integrity. As an entry-level position, you will work under the Packaging Manager and gain hands-on experience with filling and palletizing while adhering to GMP,

Qualifications

• Attention to detail required for accurate labeling and tracking.
• Cleanliness and sanitation standards must be maintained.
• Arithmetic proficiency for counts and measurements.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ pounds.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to promote sustainable operations and reduce product loss.
• Mechanical aptitude is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Environmental cleaning: floors and tanks.
• Packing out and palletizing cases.
• Cleaning and filling kegs; palletizing kegs.
• Labeling and tracking finished goods.
• Assist in running and cleaning packaging equipment (Filler).
• Ensure product is undamaged during handling.
• Assist in changing over the packaging line.
