Job summary

Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA is seeking a Production Operator in Suffolk, VA to operate assigned production lines, prepare for start-up, and coordinate changeovers. The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Pay ranges from $19.50 to $30.00 per hour with full-time benefits and opportunities for growth. Preferred candidates have a HS diploma, 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; some college preferred but not required
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience strongly preferred, or functional experience in an industrial environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make independent judgments
• Ability and willingness to work in a team environment and interact effectively as a team contributor supporting company initiatives
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Dependability, flexibility, and accountability are required skillsets for this role

Responsibilities

• Prepare packaging lines for start-up; verify production schedules and available materials; complete paperwork
• Coordinate changeover activities to minimize downtime
• Communicate line changes to coworkers and other departments
• Ensure specifications are followed
• Track downtime
• Adhere to manufacturing practices and safety regulations
• Prepare for next shift by communicating changes or issues
• Attend daily/weekly plant meetings
• Discuss production issues and workflow with coworkers
• Report safety concerns per OSHA regulations
• Monitor quality and check for defects
• Monitor equipment and coordinate with maintenance
• Participate in continuous improvement programs
• Demonstrate dependability and promote teamwork
• Bring ideas to improve the workplace
