Job summary

Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA in Suffolk, Virginia, is seeking a Processing Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the Processing team at our roasting plant. You will supervise green receiving, roasting and grinding, drive productivity, and maintain high standards of service to customers nationwide.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS and at least 3 years of supervisory manufacturing experience, with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BA or BS college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, in a 24-7 production operation.

Responsibilities

• Develop team members to meet goals and objectives; standardize work on production lines.
• Lead problem solving between mechanics, technicians, operators and support groups.
• Coordinate maintenance work and PMs on roasters with the planner.
• Promote team involvement in safety, efficiency, and plant performance goals.
• Ensure operators are trained and cross trained on equipment.
• Support Lean and 6-Sigma activities to improve OEE.
• Conduct weekly 5S audits and communicate results to the team.
• Manage daily schedule and staffing to control overtime.
• Communicate equipment/process changes with Maintenance and production teams.
• Perform employee reviews and provide feedback.
