Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Packaging Equipment Service Technician to repair and maintain electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems across customer sites in the southcentral PA region. You will perform diagnostics, replacement of parts, and detailed record-keeping while traveling to client facilities.

The role requires strong communication with customers, vendors and sales reps, plus the ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Electrical knowledge of equipment and controls.
• Mechanical knowledge and background.
• Previous experience with pneumatics.
• Computer experience and aptitude.
• Valid PA driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic, repair and maintenance on electro-mechanical and pneumatic equipment and machines, including printing equipment.
• Replaces parts and components and keeps detailed records of all repair work.
• Completes necessary documents regarding work performed and accounts for time worked.
• Ability to learn equipment cycles and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Able to report to customer locations and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Provide feedback to supervisors, other team members and sales representatives.
• Represent the company in a professional and expert capacity.
• Assist with facility maintenance as required and operate in other departments as needed.
