Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician in Wichita, KS to provide technical service and promote Cryovac packaging materials and equipment. You will support sales and marketing with timely service call reporting, account updates, and CRM entries.

The role requires a high school diploma, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to travel about 30% overnight. Training customers on equipment operation and safety, plus coordination of installations, are key aspects of the position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanically inclined and innovative.
• Possess a valid US Driver’s License; ability to travel overnight ~30%.
• Experience servicing Cryovac rotary and auxiliary equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide equipment troubleshooting, repair and maintenance service to customers using Sealed Air Cryovac materials.
• Assist or coordinate/supervise customer personnel in installation of equipment and training in operation, maintenance and sanitation.
• Inform customers of safety regulations, technical information, modifications and improvements.
• Analyze packaging quality and production problems to determine if equipment, material or product related.
• Advise customers in establishing preventative maintenance programs and spare parts requirements.
• Enhance customer relations with regular calls, audits of equipment, securing parts and advise on packaging techniques per territory business plan.
