Job summary

Axalta-Coating-Systems is seeking a highly motivated Packaging Engineer to join the Raw Material Technology team in Philadelphia, PA. The role focuses on managing finished product packaging offerings, regulatory compliance, cost optimization, and packaging consolidation to meet business and customer needs.

Responsibilities include evaluating new packaging technologies, collaborating across functions, and scaling up packaging materials for manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• 5+ years in packaging, packaging coatings, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of packaging attributes and performance impact.
• Experience with analytical techniques and pack testing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and qualify new packaging for waterborne and solventborne coatings.
• Collaborate with procurement, process technology, operations, and regulatory teams.
• Design and execute experiments to test packaging interactions and compatibility.
• Develop packaging specifications and technical documentation.
