Unknown company in the United States is seeking an experienced Packaging Engineer to sustain existing product packaging, support quality and regulatory compliance, and drive cost-saving initiatives. The role covers developing and qualifying packaging systems and manufacturing processes, and supporting new product introductions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in packaging engineering, strong knowledge of packaging materials, DOE, RCA, Change Control, Lean CI, and GMP environments, with

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of packaging engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials and manufacturing processes, design and development, and DOE.
• Experience with Change Control, RCA, and Lean/CI principles.
• Experience managing packaging projects from initiation through implementation.
• Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry and GMP environments.

• Lead packaging engineering projects focusing on QC investigations, regulatory compliance, and cost reduction.
• Support NPI and continuous improvement through new materials and design changes.
• Develop testing protocols and participate in Change Control activities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing sites, suppliers, quality, regulatory, and cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate and qualify new packaging materials, components, and systems.
• Create packaging specifications, drawings, and procedures.
• Perform root cause analysis and apply DOE/statistical methods to troubleshooting.
• Conduct financial analysis and project justification for packaging initiatives.
• Support manufacturing process qualification and packaging validation.
• Travel to facilities and suppliers as needed.
