Job summary

Signode Industrial Group seeks a Distribution Sales Consultant to drive local pull-through and co-sell with distributors, managing regional distributor relationships. You will leverage Signode’s high-performance packaging systems including consumables, machines, tools and services, handling a $10–$12 million sales volume.

The role requires 3–5 years in sales with territory experience, CRM proficiency and the ability to travel up to 65%.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in sales, distribution channel experience preferred
• Must live in assigned territory; travel overnight – up to 65%
• Basic knowledge of Signode’s products and applications to sell solutions
• Ability to use a CRM and read dashboards on PowerBi, with general MS Office proficiency
• Strong technology skills with social media knowledge

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of sales and service in the defined territory
• Promote and sell Signode’s packaging system to meet customer needs
• Sell using a consultative and solutions-driven approach
• Meet or exceed sales goals by gaining new distributors and increasing shelf space
• Negotiate volume, contracts, and pricing with key accounts
• Build networks with industry leaders to advance Signode opportunities
• Coordinate with logistics and customer service for order fulfillment
• Own relationships of regional distribution accounts
• Train distributor representatives on application and product knowledge
• Participate in training to continually improve and advance
