Job summary

Signode Industrial Group is seeking a Sr. Regional Sales Consultant to drive packaging solutions across the North Central region.

You will manage customer relationships, develop new business, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver value‑added packaging systems for industrial customers in the territory. We expect 5+ years of outside consultative sales experience and strong mechanical aptitude, plus proficiency with MS Office, Salesforce, D365 and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years outside consultative sales experience, industrial sales experience preferred. Must live in the assigned territory; travel overnight - up to 65%.
• Strong mechanical and manufacturing aptitude.
• Proficiency in MS Suite products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
• Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce, D365) is required.
• Ability to navigate dashboards on PowerBI.
• Experience in territory planning, accounts prospecting, management and development.

Responsibilities

• Sell through a consultative and solutions‑driven method to provide a comprehensive packaging system to our customers.
• Meet or exceed sales goals by utilizing all Signode products and services.
• Advanced knowledge of all Signode's products, services, and applications to identify and recommend appropriate customer solutions.
• Coordinate sales activity from quote to sale close.
• Communicate and demonstrate the value of One Signode to customers through consultative selling techniques.
• Collaborate with internal teams on account management, projects, and department initiatives.
• Support the national account team with dedicated time given to our national customers located in the assigned territory.
• Lead peers in training opportunities to assist the sales team in continuing to improve performance, learn products and practice sales techniques.
• Assist the A/R department collecting past‑due balances and ensure your accounts are in good standing.
