## Packaging Core Engineering InternApply: Jeannette, PA: Full time: Posted Today: R3980**Overview & Responsibilities****2027 Packaging Core Engineering Intern Overview** This is a support role to assist Ebara Elliott Energy (EEE) professionals in our U.S. global headquarters location in Jeannette, PA. Students will receive “hands-on\" experience in the Packaging Core Engineering department in the rotating equipment industry.At EEE, we design, build, refurbish and re-engineer products used by some of the largest companies in the world. EEE manufactures steam turbines, centrifugal and axial compressors, cryogenic pumps and expanders, power recovery expanders and gas expanders for use in energy markets worldwide. Packaging Core Engineering assists and oversees full system integration of EEE machinery with essential subsystems like baseplates, control systems, drivers, gears, lubrication, and dry gas systems.**All internships will consist of the following elements:*** Individual projects to own and complete for real world hands-on experience;* Team project and activities designed to demonstrate cooperation;* Exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities of EEE leadership including participation in company and customer meetings and job shadowing.**The Packaging Core Engineering Intern will lead the following projects:*** Collaborate with senior engineers to capture operational knowledge and systematically resolve documentation gaps across core product lines.* Draft, format, and publish technical memorandums, work instructions, and engineering standards to establish formalized operating procedures.* Standardize technical philosophies to ensure seamless alignment and knowledge transfer across application, product, and test engineering teams.* Draft and review technical documentation to support customer specification reviews, pre-contract negotiations, and technical clarifications.**Preferred candidate:** Major in Engineering completing minimum of sophomore year of a Bachelor’s Degree.
