Job summary

Currier in San Jose, CA seeks a seasoned sales and business development professional to grow new accounts in packaging sectors. You will manage existing business, generate RFQs, and lead the region toward annual targets.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in sales, exposure to packaging/manufacturing processes, and an entrepreneurial mindset. A Bachelor's degree and a valid driver's license are preferred requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; Business Management/Engineering a plus.
• 5+ years of sales and business development experience with a record of success.
• Exposure to the injection and/or extrusion blow molding processes is preferred.
• Entrepreneurial, self-starter, requires little supervision.
• Valid and clean driver's license.
• Completion of Currier Plastics Business Development Playbook training.
• Prior CDMO experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular sales activity and develop new business opportunities.
• Research potential accounts and build customer profiles.
• Make sales calls to develop new business and present quotes.
• Generate RFQs and provide inputs for technical quotations.
• Develop and manage packaging accounts; expand existing business.
• Review customer documentation and contracts.
• Provide reports on prospecting, calls, and pipeline using CRM.
• Hit annual territory sales targets and forecast accounts.
• Maintain customer satisfaction across engagements.
• Inform management of market conditions in the region.
