Job summary

Niverplast is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers across North America from its Grand Rapids, MI base. You will troubleshoot and maintain automated packaging machinery, and train end users on best practices to keep lines running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical/electrical skills, PLC/HMI knowledge, and a willingness to travel up to 75% with both domestic and international trips.

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced understanding of PLCs, HMIs, motion control, and vision systems.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally with short notice.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on automated packaging machinery.
• Train end users on best practices to operate equipment.
