Job summary

Foster Farms is hiring for a team member to work in our production lines. The role involves cutting chicken into segments, packing, labeling, and assisting with production flow.

You will rotate through different positions and work in varying temperatures, with emphasis on safety and quality. The pay starts at $19.00 per hour with shift premiums for late shift and overnight hours, plus a longevity and attendance premium.

Qualifications

• Must be able to report to work on time and cover required hours, including overtime and weekends.
• Follow GMPs and all Food Safety procedures.
• Work safely and set a good example of safe work habits.
• Able to lift 3–5 lbs repeatedly and 10–80 lbs as needed.
• Communicate with supervision and co-workers regarding tasks and production issues.

Responsibilities

• Use small hand-held tools to cut chicken into segments for product run.
• Pack product into foam trays and/or plastic bags.
• Place labels and arrange items on trays with chicken parts.
• Visually inspect and grade chicken parts for production lines.
• Rotate through various positions on production areas during the shift.
• Work in cold or hot environments as designated.
