Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a State and Local Government Affairs Manager (Pacific) to advance state government relations across the Pacific region. The role focuses on legislative strategy, stakeholder engagement, and policy support for SpaceX and SpaceXSI’s facilities.

Responsibilities include engaging with state and local leaders, building networks with officials, monitoring policies, and supporting the Director of Government Affairs while traveling to onsite locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in public or government affairs, including state and local policy, advocacy, or crisis/issue management.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with state and local leaders across the Pacific region to support SpaceX priorities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local government officials, lawmakers, and regulatory decision-makers.
• Monitor and analyze local and regional policy developments.
• Perform research, develop policy materials, and provide collateral.
• Support the Director of Government Affairs with statewide priorities.
