Sentry is seeking a Regional Executive in California to own revenue and profitability for the Pacific region. You will lead a 20+ person team and develop underwriting strategies across commercial lines, aligning with market dynamics and agency relationships.

You will drive premium growth, work with marketing to target segments, and ensure regional underwriting standards while coaching the field underwriting staff. This leadership role emphasizes collaboration and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of underwriting experience in standard commercial lines property and casualty insurance in California.
• Significant experience in commercial lines underwriting and product management.
• Knowledge of marketing techniques, trends, and concepts.
• Superior problem solving and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute regional underwriting and growth strategies within the Pacific region.
• Lead and coach a regional team of 20+ professionals; collaborate with marketing and agencies.
• Maintain underwriting standards, policies, and processes for regional products; train field underwriters.
