Qualifications

• 10+ years of underwriting experience in California commercial lines.
• Significant experience in commercial lines underwriting.
• Insurance and product management experience in Commercial Lines Property & Casualty.
• Knowledge of marketing techniques, trends and concepts.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proven management experience.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute regional strategies to optimize premium growth and profitability across applicable commercial lines.
• Maintain contact with marketing functions and agencies to define target market segments and strategies.
• Maintain knowledge of market trends and competitor products to reach premium and growth objectives.
• Lead and coach marketing representatives and ensure delivery of marketing strategies.
• Implement underwriting standards and provide training to regional underwriting staff.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to grow the Pacific region profitably.
