Job summary

001 Sentry Insurance Company is seeking a strategic Regional Executive to drive revenue and profitability for the Pacific region. You will own underwriting strategies across commercial lines, lead a regional team of 20+ professionals, and partner with marketing and agencies to grow premium and market share.

This leadership role requires 10+ years of California underwriting experience, strong analytical and people-management skills, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of underwriting experience in standard commercial lines P&C in California.
• Significant experience in commercial lines underwriting.
• Insurance and product management background in Commercial Lines Property and Casualty.
• Knowledge of marketing techniques, trends and concepts.
• Superior problem solving and analytical skills with data-driven decisions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Successful management experience.
• Ability to meet travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute regional strategies to optimize premium growth and profitability.
• Lead a regional team of 20+ professionals.
• Collaborate with marketing and agencies to define target market segments and strategies.
• Maintain knowledge of market trends and competitive environment.
• Ensure independent agencies deliver and execute marketing strategies.
• Provide leadership and coaching to marketing representatives.
• Implement underwriting standards and processes for Regional products.
• Support field underwriting staff within the region.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to grow the region profitability.
