Job summary

Ferguson seeks a Sales Manager to cover Pacific Northwest markets for Waterworks Municipal. The role focuses on sales expansion, margin improvement, and market development across OR, WA, ID, MT, overseeing seven outside reps and one support rep.

The position reports to the Director of Utility Infrastructure Sales and can be based at any waterworks location within the territory, with travel throughout the market as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in sales and/or management within Waterworks; municipal experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development skills.
• Ability to analyze data, prepare budgets, and present plans.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
• Sets objectives for key accounts and sales reps.
• Leads and develops a sales team to achieve targets.
• Reviews sales trends and market dynamics to guide strategy.
• Collaborates with sales teams to meet customer requirements and provide support.
• Oversees budgeting and performance of the sales staff.
• Takes ownership of solving problems and engages stakeholders.
