Job summary

Modern Networks LLC is seeking a Field Sales Executive to own a Pacific Northwest territory, building strong customer relationships and driving long-term growth. You will develop a territory strategy, prospect for new opportunities, and partner with manufacturers, carriers, distributors, and channel partners to close complex deals.

The role offers an uncapped commission plan with on-target earnings of $160,000–$200,000+ and requires significant travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B technology sales experience.
• Proven ability to generate pipeline and close new business.
• Strong consultative selling and discovery skills.
• Experience selling into enterprise, public safety, utilities, or critical infrastructure.
• Experience working with manufacturers, carriers, distributors, VARs, or channel partners.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the growth strategy for the assigned territory.
• Develop new business through prospecting, networking, and in-person customer engagement.
• Build relationships with enterprise and mission-critical customers.
• Collaborate with manufacturers, carriers, distributors, and channel partners to create opportunities.
• Lead consultative sales engagements from discovery through close.
• Build and manage pipeline, forecasting, and opportunity progression.
• Partner closely with engineering and operations teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
