Modern Networks is looking for a Field Sales Executive to own a Pacific Northwest territory, build meaningful customer relationships, and drive long-term growth in a rapidly expanding business.

OTE is $160,000–$200,000+ with an uncapped commission plan. This role involves prospecting, networking, and close collaboration with manufacturers, carriers, distributors, and channel partners to deliver outcomes. Travel up to 50–75% is required for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B sales in technology, telecommunications, networking, infrastructure, mobility, or related industries.
• Proven ability to generate pipeline and close new business.
• Experience selling into enterprise, public safety, utilities, transportation, or similar markets.
• Experience working with manufacturers, carriers, distributors, VARs, or channel partners.
• Self-starter who thrives with autonomy, accountability, and territory ownership.
• Ability to travel approximately 50–75% within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the growth strategy for an assigned territory.
• Develop new business through prospecting, networking, and in-person customer engagement.
• Build relationships with enterprise and mission-critical customers.
• Collaborate with manufacturers, carriers, distributors, and channel partners to create opportunities.
• Lead consultative sales engagements from discovery through close.
• Build and manage pipeline, forecasting, and opportunity progression.
• Partner closely with engineering and operations teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
