Job summary

Stonhard is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive profits in the Seattle district. You will hire, train, and motivate Territory Managers, spend four days weekly in the field, and partner with installation crews to deliver successful projects.

You will monitor calls, quotes, and invoicing, forecast invoices, and report to the General Manager. Strong leadership, Salesforce knowledge, and a proven track record in sales are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an area sales manager or field sales manager.
• Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Outstanding written, oral and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
• Familiar with specific account base or general markets.
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of Salesforce (SFA).
• Spend a minimum of 4 days per week in the field with TMs.
• Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills.
• A proven ability to manage projects and clearly communicate key project tasks.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Direct responsibility for Profit and Loss within the District and weekly Accounts Receivable follow up.
• Hire, train, develop, motivate, and shape image of Territory Managers.
• Spend four days per week in the field with TMs calling on Stonhard customers.
• Assist in presentations and manage ongoing installation projects.
• Monitor activities such as calls, quotes, and invoicing; measure performance.
• Compile reports for the General Manager evaluating TM performance.
