Job summary

Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Pacemaker Technician for day shift, full-time, to perform device interrogations and support cardiology procedures. The successful candidate will monitor remote interrogations, maintain device databases, and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced cardiac environment.

Qualifications

• Pacemaker programming experience required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire or transfer and prior to direct patient care.
• National Certification required.
• CCSD, IBHRE, and CRAT certifications required within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Interrogate pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators.
• Monitor, write reports, and manage remote patient interrogations.
• Identify critical device or patient issues and inform the provider; maintain device database.
• Assist cardiologists with cardiac procedures and exams.
• Maintain and monitor systems, equipment, and supplies for the department.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations for patient safety.
