Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications required within stated timelines.
• Basic EKG knowledge with arrhythmia understanding.
• 1 year related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interrogate implanted cardiac devices and review data.
• Test pacemaker leads to optimize settings.
• Document device analysis in the EMR.
• Coordinate with providers for device status.
• Refer changes to the ordering provider as needed.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and contact no-show patients.
• Enter charges for interrogations, reprogramming, and remote monitoring.
