Job summary

Prisma Health's Carolina Cardiology Greenville is seeking a Pacemaker/ICD Clinic Coordinator to support rhythm diagnostics and implanted device patients. You will coordinate daily clinic operations, perform device checks, and reprogram devices under physician guidance.

The role requires collaboration with cardiology teams to integrate device status into total treatment plans, plus patient education and follow-up scheduling. IBHRE preference and Cardiac Device School background are valued.

Qualifications

• Education: Cardiac Device School graduate; certification preferred by IBHRE.
• Alternative: post-high-school allied health or nursing education with related experience.
• IBHRE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily function of pacemaker/defibrillator clinics.
• Performs device checks in the office or via telecommunication.
• Reprograms devices as directed by the physician to optimize performance.
• Educates patients and provides follow-up reminders for device checks.
• Collaborates with physicians on device status within the treatment plan.
• Applies external monitoring and coordinates interpretive reports.
• Maintains records and documentation on patient devices.
