ECU Health in Greenville, NC is seeking a Device Technician to support the Device Clinic at East Carolina Heart Institute. The role involves interrogating, programming, and documenting implantable cardiac devices and ensuring accurate reporting and timely patient follow-up.

Work closely with electrophysiologists, APPs, and nursing staff to optimize patient care. A High School diploma and industry device certification are preferred, with BLS required and EP/ device software familiarity

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in cardiology or electrophysiology preferred.
• Certification course in devices preferred or must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• BLS required by American Heart Association.
• Knowledge of implantable cardiac devices; familiarity with device programmers preferred.
• Experience with Epic and/or device-specific software platforms desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Support Device Clinic operations by interrogating, programming and documenting implantable cardiac devices.
• Collaborate with electrophysiologists, APPs and nursing staff to ensure accurate reporting and timely patient follow-up.
• Contribute to optimal patient care and reporting accuracy.
