Job summary

NORTH EAST MEDICAL SERVICES is hiring a PACE Driver in San Jose, CA. The role involves transportation of participants, meals, and supplies, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. You will assist with boarding, maintain records, and use Epic for workflows.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma, CA driver’s license, and Basic Life Support/First Aid certifications within 90 days of hire. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CA Class C license required; Class B preferred (no violations in 5 years).
• Basic Life Support and First Aid certifications within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports participants and goods between home, PACE center, NEMS clinics, and medical locations.
• Assist participants in boarding/disembarking and ensure safety equipment usage.
• Maintain vehicle safety, cleanliness, and log daily records and fuel usage.
• Utilize Epic for workflow and issue resolution; report incidents to Supervisor.
