Job summary

Solenis is seeking a PAA Operator to safely and efficiently operate the Peracetic Acid (PAA) process, focusing on raw material off loading, transfers, and finished product toting. The role emphasizes accurate handling, safety, and regulatory compliance to support plant production.

Candidates should have industrial or chemical plant experience, familiarity with SAP, and a strong attention to safety and quality. This onsite position requires rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Industrial or chemical plant operating experience required.
• Experience with bulk liquid handling, tank farms, or toting operations preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP or electronic batch/log systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor raw material storage tanks, including level checks, transfers, and tank lineups.
• Perform material transfers according to operating procedures and production requirements.
• Operate the finished product toting station, including tote setup, filling, verification, and labeling.
• Verify correct product, tank identification, and routing prior to transfers or toting activities.
• Conduct basic inspections of pumps, hoses, valves, and metering equipment associated with transfer and toting operations.
• Accurately complete required documentation, including log sheets, batch/order records, and SAP transactions.
• Communicate process status, abnormal conditions, and equipment issues to supervisors and incoming shifts.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in tank farm, transfer, and toting areas.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies, including proper PPE use and spill prevention practices.
