Job summary

Solenis Portland, OR, is seeking a Chemical Operator to safely and efficiently manufacture specialty chemicals. You will operate reactors, monitor processes, conduct quality checks, and maintain production records in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires SAP usage, material handling, and collaboration with team members to ensure safety and quality across operations. Strong attention to detail and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed operating procedures and safety standards.
• Experience with SAP or ERP inventory systems preferred.
• Forklift, bulk material handling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and control chemical reactors to produce specialty chemical products.
• Perform material handling, inventory tracking, and utility system oversight.
• Prepare containers and packaging equipment for filling and perform cleaning, inspection, and maintenance.
• Support shipping and receiving, including SAP transactions and loading/unloading materials.
• Maintain production records and support safety, environmental compliance initiatives.
