Job summary

Solenis seeks a Chemical Operator to safely and efficiently manufacture specialty chemical products. You will operate reactors and process equipment, perform material handling, test products, and maintain accurate SAP records while upholding safety and environmental standards.

The role involves supporting shipping/receiving, equipment prep, and DOT testing in a facilities setting. Strong detail orientation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in chemical manufacturing or related production preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed operating procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP/inventory management systems preferred.
• Forklift, bulk material handling, or shipping and receiving experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and control chemical reactors and related processing equipment per procedures and process parameters.
• Perform material handling, inventory monitoring, and utility system oversight.
• Conduct in-process and final product testing to verify quality and adjust as needed.
• Complete SAP transactions and maintain production records supporting safety and compliance.
• Prepare containers and packaging equipment for filling, including DOT testing.
• Support shipping and receiving activities, including material handling and SAP processing.
