Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an intermediate P6 Scheduler to partner with the Project Manager to develop timetables, manage time and resources, and ensure projects are completed on schedule. The role requires onsite engagement with GCs, subs, and field management during the initial six months and ongoing coordination with PMs and superintendents to maintain calendars through project completion.

You will identify schedule disparities, report findings, and help produce Weekly/Monthly reports.

Qualifications

• Experience with Primavera scheduling software.
• Intermediate level in schedule management and coordinating with PMs.
• Contract to Hire role based in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities

• Create timetables and manage time and resources to ensure on-time completion.
• First 6 months: onsite meetings with GCs, subs and field management.
• Manage workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and job installation progress.
• Coordinate with Project Management and Leads/Superintendents to create and maintain project calendars to completion.
• Identify and anticipate schedule disparities and report to Project Management.
• Provide PM with elements to issue Weekly/Monthly Reports.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
• Promote company culture and mission to employees, vendors, clients and partners.
• Lead others to create, develop and implement project process improvements.
• Possess strong written, oral communication and presentation skills.
• Interpret blueprints and project documents and learn PM systems.
