Alliance Group, Inc. seeks a Risk Management & Captive Insurance Manager to own its P&C and captive risk programs across operating companies in a hands‑on, high‑impact role.

You will manage claims, retention economics, and program performance while coordinating with executives, Finance, Legal, Safety, and other partners. The role emphasizes total‑cost‑of‑risk optimization, proactive claims review, captive funding understanding, and cross‑functional collaboration with brokers, TPAs, and carriers

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in commercial P&C insurance, corporate risk management, claims consulting, TPA account management or captive insurance.
• Strong working knowledge of workers’ compensation, automobile liability and general liability claims.
• Experience with loss‑sensitive programs, large deductibles, self‑insurance or captive structures is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the company’s primary internal owner for P&C claims across operating companies, including workers’ compensation, automobile liability, general liability and property.
• Establish guidelines for when incidents are submitted as insurance claims vs. direct handling, considering deductibles and total economic impact.
• Oversee claims strategy with TPAs, adjusters, brokers, and leaders; review reserves, settlements, and litigation approaches.
