Job summary

Ryan Specialty Group seeks a proactive Program Manager to oversee daily operations of group captive insurance programs. You will coordinate brokers, members, and service providers, ensuring accurate underwriting flow and timely pricing models with actuaries.

Lead board communications, maintain documentation, and manage financial reconciliation alongside the domicile manager. Strong collaboration and analytical skills are essential to support growth and program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field with at least 5 years' experience in property and casualty insurance, ideally with captive programs.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including executive leadership and production.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to present complex information clearly.
• Strong analytical skills with sound judgment for technical and operational challenges.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned captive programs, acting as COO to the team.
• Manage underwriting flow from submission to proposal production and assist actuaries with pricing models.
• Maintain relationships with brokers, service providers, and members; lead board meeting facilitation and status updates.
• Oversee underwriting documentation, renewals, board books, financials, and slide decks in collaboration with domicile manager.
• Monitor premium collection and financial reconciliation with the domicile manager and carrier.
