Job summary

Unison Risk Advisors is seeking a Sales Executive in Columbus to generate new business, manage a growing book of business, and meet annual production goals. You will lead prospecting efforts, build relationships with C-suite and decision-makers, and tailor risk management solutions.

You will act as a trusted advisor, designing insurance strategies across Property & Casualty, Life & Health, and Retirement Planning.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven insurance brokerage sales experience.
• Experience in Property & Casualty, Life & Health, Personal Lines, or Retirement Planning.
• Appropriate insurance licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Own personal sales pipeline, book of business, and production goals.
• Develop and execute an individual sales development plan.
• Act as a subject matter expert in insurance products, risk management, and client solutions.
• Align sales strategy with organizational growth initiatives.
• Execute proactive prospecting strategies including cold outreach, networking, and referral generation.
• Identify decision-makers and secure meetings and presentations.
• Analyze prospective clients' insurance and risk programs.
• Design and customize insurance solutions and present recommendations.
• Apply closing techniques to secure new business and achieve sales targets.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure quality proposals, presentations, and sales documentation.
• Monitor pipeline activity and manage follow-ups and next steps.
• Partner with internal service teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities across lines of business.
• Ensure smooth transition from sales to service and ongoing client support.
• Participate in business development meetings and industry events.
