Job summary

Oliver Wyman's Property and Casualty Actuarial Practice seeks a motivated consultant to join a global team. You will develop, validate, and operationalize actuarial models and workflows across pricing, reserving, and capital modeling.

Collaboration spans actuaries, engineers, and data scientists on AI-enabled solutions to deliver client impact. Required: 1+ year actuarial experience, Python/R/SQL familiarity, and progress toward CAS credentials.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Actuarial Science or related field.
• 1+ years actuarial experience; pursuing CAS credentials with 3+ exams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis.
• Experience with AI technologies for modeling is a plus.
• Programming knowledge in Python, R, or SQL.

Responsibilities

• Deliver actuarial solutions for client engagements across pricing, reserving and capital modeling.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends and insights.
• Apply actuarial methodologies to produce well-supported analyses.
• Gather requirements and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with actuaries, engineers, and data scientists on technical specs.
• Validate data, assumptions, calculations, and models for quality.
