Job summary

Oliver Wyman's Actuarial Practice in the US is seeking a consultant to develop, validate, and operationalize actuarial models and methodologies. You will work with data, pricing, reserving, and capital modeling, leveraging AI-enabled approaches and collaboration with engineering teams.

We value strong communication, rigorous analytics, and the ability to translate complex results for clients and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field.
3+ years actuarial experience and pursuing CAS with 3+ exams.
Strong communication to convey complex info to diverse audiences.
Analytical problem-solving mindset and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Data analytics: analyze large datasets to inform decisions.
Provide technical guidance on actuarial methodologies and governance.
Collaborate with stakeholders, translating findings into recommendations.
Partner with engineering teams to translate actuarial specs into technical requirements.
Ensure quality governance and validate data, models, and assumptions.
Contribute to tools and processes to improve operational excellence.
