Pascal's Manale in New Orleans is seeking an Oyster Shucker to clean, open, and present shellfish for our oyster bar and dining area.

You will follow precise prep directions, maintain sanitation, and work with a team during busy service to ensure guests receive fresh, properly plated oysters and timely service.

This full-time role requires strong attention to detail, good English communication, and the stamina to stand long hours in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 6–12 months related experience preferred.
• ServSafe or other food safety certification helpful.
• Ability to read, count, and write weights/measurements.
• English comprehension for instructions and guest communication.
• Able to stand long hours in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsabilités

• Clean and prep shellfish, open oysters, and portion on ice or storage.
• Assist at the Oyster Bar, serving customers with friendly service.
• Maintain glove use and sanitation throughout shift.
• Communicate with team to coordinate service during high-volume periods.
• Adhere to company safety, appearance, and uniform standards.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervision.
