Job summary

Advantage Point Group, Inc. is seeking an Owners Representative with electrical experience for an industrial plant project in Cottage Grove, MN. You will monitor construction on capital and plant maintenance projects and liaise between engineering and contractors.

Responsibilities include overseeing on-site work, safety, contract compliance, and permitting procedures. Start ASAP; day shift with some extended hours and weekends. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in Industrial and/or Heavy Commercial work.
• Electrical construction experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Start ASAP. Day shift, 8-hour days with occasional extended hours and weekends.

Advantage Point Group, Inc. is looking to add an Owners Representative with Electrical experience for a position at an industrial plant in Cottage Grove, MN to monitor construction on capital and plant maintenance projects.

Responsibilities

As an Owners Rep you are liaison between engineering & construction contractors, overseeing contractors on site to ensure they are performing tasks safely and compliant with the contract.You will oversee contractors performing work in accordance with the guidelines and specifications of the owner and oversee permitting procedures. You will NOT be performing the maintenance and physical labor.

Requirements

• 12years previous experience in Industrial and/or Heavy Commercial work required.
• Electrical construction experience strongly preferred.

• Must have the ability to deal with political aspects of a large corporate environment.

  Competitive Compensation and Benefits
• Pay Rate: $50-$65per hour depending upon previous experience and qualifications.
• Overtime paid at time and a half paid for over 40 hours per week.
