Job summary

Advantage Point Group, Inc. is seeking an Owners Representative with electrical experience for an industrial plant project in Cottage Grove, MN.

The role will monitor construction on capital and plant maintenance projects and act as a liaison between engineering and contractors. The position requires 12 years in industrial/heavy commercial work, OSHA 30 certification, and strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• 12 years of industrial/heavy commercial experience required.
• Electrical construction experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between engineering and construction contractors, supervising on-site tasks for safety and contractual compliance.

Advantage Point Group, Inc. is looking to add an Owners Representative with Electrical experience for a position at an industrial plant in Cottage Grove, MN to monitor construction on capital and plant maintenance projects.

Responsibilities

As an Owners Rep you are liaison between engineering & construction contractors, overseeing contractors on site to ensure they are performing tasks safely and compliant with the contract.You will oversee contractors performing work in accordance with the guidelines and specifications of the owner and oversee permitting procedures. You will NOT be performing the maintenance and physical labor.

Requirements

• 12years previous experience in Industrial and/or Heavy Commercial work required.
• Electrical construction experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills & computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.
• Must have the ability to deal with political aspects of a large corporate environment.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Start ASAP.
• Day shift, 8-hour days with occasional extended hours and weekends.

Competitive Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Rate: $50-$65per hour depending upon previous experience and qualifications.
• Overtime paid at time and a half paid for over 40 hours per week.
• LOCAL candidates are encouraged to apply.NOT eligible for per diem.
