Advantage Point Group, Inc. is seeking an Owners Representative with mechanical expertise for an industrial plant project in Knoxville, IA. The role focuses on monitoring construction for capital and plant maintenance projects and ensuring contractor work aligns with contract requirements on site.

As the liaison between engineering and contractors, you will oversee safety, compliance, permitting, and overall project execution. This is an on-site, day-shift position starting ASAP.

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in Industrial and/or Heavy Commercial work.
• Mechanical construction experience required.
• OSHA 30 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between engineering and construction contractors, overseeing on-site work for safety and contract compliance.
• Oversee permitting procedures and ensure work aligns with owner guidelines and specifications.
• Do not perform maintenance or physical labor; supervise contractors and site activities.

Advantage Point Group, Inc. is looking to add an Owners Representative with Mechanical experience for a position at an industrial plant in Knoxville, IA to monitor construction on capital and plant maintenance projects.

Responsibilities

As an Owners Rep you are liaison between engineering & construction contractors, overseeing contractors on site to ensure they are performing tasks safely and compliant with the contract. You will oversee contractors performing work in accordance with the guidelines and specifications of the owner and oversee permitting procedures. You will NOT be performing the maintenance and physical labor.

Requirements

• 12years previous experience in Industrial and/or Heavy Commercial work required.
• Mechanical construction experience required.
• Excellent communication skills & computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.
• Must have the ability to deal with political aspects of a large corporate environment.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Start ASAP.
• Day shift, 8-hour days with occasional extended hours and weekends.

Competitive Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Rate: $50-$65per hour depending upon previous experience and qualifications.
• Overtime paid at time and a half paid for over 40 hours per week.
• LOCAL candidates are encouraged to apply.NOT eligible for per diem.
