Job summary

Advantage Point Group, Inc. is seeking an Owners Representative with electrical experience for an industrial plant project in Cottage Grove, MN to monitor construction on capital and plant maintenance initiatives.

As the on-site liaison between engineering and contractors, you will oversee contractors, ensure safety and contractual compliance, and enforce permitting procedures. You will NOT perform maintenance or labor.

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in Industrial and/or Heavy Commercial work.
• Electrical construction experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills; proficient with MS Office.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Start ASAP.
• Day shift, 8-hour days with occasional extended hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

As an Owners Rep you are liaison between engineering & construction contractors, overseeing contractors on site to ensure they are performing tasks safely and compliant with the contract.You will oversee contractors performing work in accordance with the guidelines and specifications of the owner and oversee permitting procedures. You will NOT be performing the maintenance and physical labor.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills & computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.
• Must have the ability to deal with political aspects of a large corporate environment.

Competitive Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Rate: $50-$65per hour depending upon previous experience and qualifications.
• Overtime paid at time and a half paid for over 40 hours per week.
