Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality programs on capital projects. You will perform surveillance of contractor and supplier quality activities and review quality documentation to ensure compliance.

You will track audit findings to closure, prepare weekly quality status inputs, and report to the project quality lead. The role requires field presence on active jobsites, a valid driver's license, and travel per project needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and identifying gaps.
• Clear written reporting and organized document handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
