Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality on capital projects. The role focuses on surveilling contractor and supplier quality, reviewing QC plans and inspection records, and reporting quality status to the project quality lead.

You will alternate between field and document work, witness hold points, track audit findings, and prepare weekly quality inputs. A valid driver's license and site presence are required; travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding gaps.
• Clear written reporting.
• Organized under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
