Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support the owner's quality program on capital projects. You will supervise surveillance of contractor and supplier activities, review QC docs, and report findings to the project quality lead.

The role alternates between field work and document review, with travel to active sites as required. Expect liaising with clients and delivering written status updates and closeout actions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Familiar with contractor and supplier surveillance and quality plans.
• Experience reviewing ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications.
• Ability to prepare clear written reports and track actions.
• Comfortable working with document-heavy records and procedures.
• Driver's license and ability to travel to sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
