Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality on capital projects. You will audit contractor and supplier quality, review QC plans and records, and report status to the project quality lead.

The role blends field presence with document review on a rotating schedule, and requires driving to active job sites and adherence to ISO 9001 standards. As the entry path to owner-side quality, this position offers growth toward Project Quality Manager

Qualifications

3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
A certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps.
Clear written reporting and organized under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
