Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality programs on capital projects. You will oversee surveillance of contractor and supplier quality activities, review ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications, and report findings to the project quality lead.

In this role you balance field work with document control, witness hold points, track nonconformances, and contribute to the weekly quality status.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• A certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps.
• Clear written reporting and organization in document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
