Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality programs on capital projects. You will perform surveillance of contractor and supplier activities, review QC plans, and track audit findings to closure.

The role emphasizes documenting quality status, preparing weekly inputs, and communicating with the project quality lead. Travel to active sites may be required, and a valid driver’s license is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps.
• Clear written reporting.
• Organized under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
