Job summary

Perpetua Resources is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support Owner-side procurement for the Stibnite Gold Project, overseeing EPCM-led activities from sourcing through close-out. The role requires strong commercial judgment, negotiation of supplier and contractor terms, and oversight to protect Owner interests on a large capital project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of procurement, contracts, or supply chain experience in capital projects.
• Minimum 5 years managing procurement packages through pre- and post-award phases.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Owner's procurement representative, providing commercial oversight for EPCM-led procurement activities.
• Manage procurement packages through the full lifecycle: RFQ development, bid evaluation, negotiation, award, and closeout.
• Develop and execute procurement plans aligning with schedule and equipment needs.
• Coordinate procurement across internal and supplier teams to ensure successful package execution.
• Review and challenge CBEs, RTAs, PO²s, and amendments to ensure commercial rigor.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, delivery, warranties, and LDs.
• Identify and communicate procurement risks and mitigation strategies.
