Job summary

Amrize in Colorado is hiring a Project Procurement Manager for a large cement-mining project. This onsite role oversees sourcing of equipment and services, adherence to safety standards, and contract compliance through the project lifecycle.

The position requires 8–15 years in procurement for heavy industrial EPC projects and a Bachelor's degree. SAP and Microsoft Office proficiency are expected; remote work is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 8–15 years of procurement experience in cement, mining, or heavy industrial EPC projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft skills; working knowledge in SAP.
• Experience managing procurement for large CAPEX projects ($100M+) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the project procurement strategy.
• Prepare the Project Procurement Plan, including long-lead items and critical path equipment.
• Identify, prequalify, and manage OEM suppliers.
• Manage RFQs, RFPs, and tender processes.
• Perform technical–commercial bid evaluations with engineering teams.
• Negotiate pricing, Incoterms, delivery schedules, warranties, and performance guarantees.
• Prepare, negotiate, and administer purchase orders and supply/subcontract agreements.
• Control procurement commitments against CAPEX budget.
• Coordinate expediting, inspection, and logistics for heavy equipment.
• Provide procurement status and cost reports to Project and Corporate Management.
• Support audits, governance reviews, and internal approvals.
