Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Construction Manager for Global Engineering Services (GES) North America Design & Construction in San Francisco. You will act as Amazon's owner’s representative across the full construction lifecycle, delivering facilities that power the logistics network—from sortation centers to delivery stations—through new builds, retrofits, and expansions.

You will interface with developers, GCs, design engineers, and AHJs, ensuring on-time, in-scope, and on-budget delivery while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent engineering science.
• Experience communicating complex information to senior stakeholders; managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple concurrent projects from design through handover (design, build, turnover).
• Serve as owner’s representative between execution teams and internal stakeholders.
• Review drawings and specs for adherence to Amazon standards and resolve conflicts.
• Negotiate contracts and review budgets/schedules; manage cost and scheduling changes as changes arise.
• Monitor KPIs for safety, cost, quality, and schedule; report on project performance.
• Drive value engineering and design improvements; promote sustainable practices.
